Originally from Nevada, Surf Curse is an indie surf rock band that started in 2013. The group consists of Jacob Rubeck (guitarist) and Nick Rattigan (drummer and lead vocalist). Since they started, they've released two full-length albums and one extended play. They currently reside in Los Angeles and have really made their mark on the local DIY punk scene. They were even able to land a spot in the annual Beach Goth festival that's hosted by Eric Andre and The Growlers. They also have an album set to release on September 13th, 2019 titled Heaven Surrounds You. While in the summer mood, definitely give their music a listen, you won't regret it.
