Don't Fear the Reaper

White Reaper is an alternative rock band from Louisville Kentucky and has been going strong since 2014. At first listening to their latest album You Deserve Love I thought some of the music belonged in a 1990s romantic comedy movie. But after listening to their other music I was completely wrong White Reaper has a sound of their own and it is actually good.  The band members are Tony Esposito, Ryan Hater, Sam Wilkerson, Nick Wilkerson, and Hunter Thompson. From their three studio albums I would have to say I enjoyed their album “The World’s Best American Band” more than anything. Mainly because the sound had a very 1970s vibe and the name of the album is dope and funny. Calling yourself The World's Best American Band. But my favorite song by them would have to be “Might Be Right”. The song reached number one on the Billboard  alternative song charts in 2019.

The band has picked up mainstream success from the help of “Might Be Right” even performing on Jimmy Kimmel. But after listening to their music catalog you can just tell that the band was going to be successful. If you are a alternative rock fan then White Reaper is must see for you. 4 Flame emojis out of 5.
