Never Loved is Restoring Pop Punk

Listen to the 4 Song Pop Punk EP...

Never Loved, backed by Equal Vision Records, home to pop-punk forces like Sleep On It and Waterparks, this fun-loving trio is ready to make a splash in 2019 with their soon-to-be-announced debut EP, as Bring the Noise puts it. Already sharing their infectious lead single “Dead Inside” earlier this year, it’s clear why Equal Vision Records was so enamored with the young outfit. With catchy hooks, driving guitar riffs and honest lyricism, Never Loved have a sound that could very easily fit anywhere between the Warped Tour and mainstream alt-rock radio – which is a good thing, by the way.
Lead Singer, Cam Knopp (Center), grew up in the Fort Lauderdale, FL area – Sunrise, specifically. While the scene has had its ups and downs, Knopp says "there’s still an awesome scene here. I started going to shows more often when I was 14 years old at venues like The Talent Farm and Rocketown. There were always so many shows in all genres with bands from the area all the way to international touring acts."
Before Never Loved formed officially, the three band members had all played together in a different band. Either there was some sort of chemistry that was off with other band members, or they just weren't ready to take over pop punk that soon. Some of the guys went off to college, and some didn't finish. (As we all can relate, either personally, or with a friend.)

Cam Knopp tells Bring The Noise "I got my first CD player around three years old (maybe younger) and would pick out CDs from my parents' collection." The band pulls their inspiration from AC/DC, Nirvana, and The Offspring.
"I’d listen to the albums Smash, Nevermind, and Back In Black nonstop on my cheap little Walmart CD player [laughs]." The tones and the way the songs hit  resonated with the lead singer.
As the band continues to restore Pop Punk with their unique sound Never Loved would love to work with J Biebs or Rivers Cuomo of Weezer. The trio believes you should always do what you love quoting, "The moment you stop doing you, you f**k up."

Towards the end of high school, Kyle realized the lack of support in his hometown of Wilmington, Delaware for the arts and underground talents. So he began digging deeper into the lives of local artists, and thus, First State Studios was born.
