Illiterate Light are here to brighten Firefly

Illitare Light is a rock duo by day alt-rock by night from Harrisberg, Virginia. The band was formed by Jake Cochran and Jeff Gorman. The two are James Madison University graduates with degrees in health science and history respectively, and have mapped a different path for themselves since graduation and are now working as full-time musicians. The band released their debut album called “Illiterate Light” last year as well as an EP titled “Sweet Beast”. Cochran said in an interview with Chapelboro.com “we feel like that album did a really good job of representing this stage of our growth and what we’re doing and what we sound like right now.” I normally don’t listen to alternative rock music but Illiterate Light is pretty good. It surprised me because of how little their music catalog is. My favorite song by them is “Better Than I Used To”. Their music reminds of Tame Impala, where it feels like you are in dream of some sort.

This is it. This is the song I’m going to replay over and over for the next couple of months until I can’t stand it anymore, except I’ll only love it more and more.
