The Adventure into Deep Soul Music

​Making his debut in 2016, Devon Gilfillian has been creating a blend of hip-hop, soul, and blues to create his own genre of music, which he states cannot be described through the common classification for music. Devon tries to find the “soul”, the feeling or vibe, of the music. He says that his passion for music came from his roots growing up listening to artists such as Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Kanye West, and Jay-Z. Since his debut, Gilfillian has been touring and performing with the likes of Keith Urban, The Fray, Mia Staples, and more. He signed to Capitol Records in 2018.

In 2019, Gilifillian said that he traveled to Africa to find healing before he began his tour in Scandinavia. His newest album, “Black Hole Rainbow”, is out now.
