Cray Has Transitioned From Producer to Performer

Successfully transitioning from producing music to becoming a full-fledged performer, the multi-talented Cray is the total package. As a DJ, singer, producer, and Twitch streamer, the L.A. based artist has a following in several different respects. Opening for artists like Anna Lunoe and Skrillex, she has fine-tuned her sound into the electro-pop genre-bending art it is today.

In a past interview, Cray stated she has amazing visions for her live sets, so Firefly should be nothing less than amazing for the young performer. She's been "dreaming of this since [she] was a kid."

Aside from music, what most music fans don't realize about Cheney Ray is she is also an avid gamer and Twitch streamer.

First State Studios Top 3 Songs We Hope To See Performed At Firefly

1. Peaches
The young producer shows off her pop and EDM skills in this single from 2018. Get hype.

2. Butterflies
Her hit single from 2020, this song is only going to get more popular.

3. Infinity Signs
Cray is all over the place with her musical talent and abilities. If you're a fan of Alison Wonderland who has played in the years past, you're going to love Cray.

Grunge, emotional, edgy. Cray grips your heart and rips it out in this lyric video. Quite literally. Smearing blood on her face and hands, I think it's safe to say if she doesn't want to talk about love, neither do we. Similar artist and visionary that comes to mind is Billie Eilish.

"Outside of the working world, music is something I invest a lot of time in, in more ways than one. I could spend hours on my SoundCloud timeline, Apple Music, or YouTube discovering new artists to listen to and enjoy. I have channeled this love into brief music reviews that can be found in the appropriate part of this website, and more recently, the First State Studios website.  I have also begun to produce music myself, learning the ins and outs of Ableton, Serum, Audacity, and other necessary software, and it still remains one of my favorite ways to spend my free time. It has sparked a love for learning new technologies and software and is something I hope to continue to grow with. I feel that my lifelong interest in the technical side of creative arts combined with my newfound analytical knowledge combine perfectly to serve me well in the marketing and advertising realm."
