NICK WATERHOUSE
FEATURED SONGS: Which Was Writ (16:00 - 17:25) Black Glass (17:25 - 18:50)
Oh Lawdy, take me back to the 50's and 60's where jazz, guitar riffs, and dance hall music intertwined to bring a sort of euphoric rock 'n' roll. He may look like Buddy Holly but he rocks like The Yardbirds and James Brown. I'm no even trying to hype him up wither, this is just a genuine description of my feelings as I listen to him for the first time. This is the music millenials never had a chance to groove to live. Nick Waterhouse has only just begun and let me tell you, this is a revolution of music. ...CONTINUE READING

BLACK PUMAS FEATURED SONG: Fire (3:515 -4:35)
Black Pumas is a Psychedelic soul band based in Austin, TX made up of singer Eric Burton and producer Adrian Quesada. And soul they are. They're beginning an overseas tour, venturing into Europe within this upcoming year. Big moves. With a voice like Eric's I don't see them not catching more and more traction in the years to come. The two bring a rejuvenating sound of soul they you just don't come across too often nowadays. You may think you look cool now, but next time you throw some shades on, put on some Black Pumas and you'll feel like you're in a 70's undercover cop movie...CONTINUE READING

MANSIONAIR FEATURED SONG: We Could Leave (5:35 - 7:15)
From Australia, Mansionair has been touring the US recently and they've been catching some major traction. They're an electronic indie trio climbing the charts, with singles like "Easier" "Astronaut" and "Violet City." March 1st they released their very first full-length album, titled Shadowboxer. You can listen through the link to their website below. Being electronic indie, Mansionair ranges from chill groove vibes to drops that force you to lose it. I wouldn't want to miss these guys live, with lights and colors, you'll be swallowed whole, into a new nirvana.

LIILY FEATURED SONG: Sold (9:51 - 11:15)
Telling from their visuals, yes. Yes, I would like to attend one of their concerts. I may get tossed and pushed around in the pits of hell that their fans take pride in but...that's just my cup of tea. Liily the band's music really curates towards a live audience. I get the sense they like to feed off high energy. Just watch the music video below.... CONTINUE READING

VAN COMMON

So Van Common possesses a new realm of music genre called Skygaze. Sebastiaan van Ravenhorst is the solo moniker of Van Common from Amsterdam and is a multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter. What a story he has...So as a true hermit, the young man retreated to a small beach house in the southwest of the Netherlands. D.I.Y was his credo: writing, singing, playing all instruments and recording, everything done by himself. CONTINUE READING

STELLA DONNELLY FEATURED SONG: Old Man (13:10 - 14:53)
Singer Songwriter and Guitarist, Stella Donnelly, is such a playful innocent soul with a precious voice. Playful best describes her personality, as you can see in her picture. Even in her songs, her personality shines through, sometimes laughing at her own lyrics in her single Tricks. But it just goes right with the vibe of the song. CONTINUE READING
