If you've heard All I Do, you'll probably find it shocking to hear A Hundred Birds is actually an orchestra from Japan. You literally cannot tell this from just listening to their music....
A Hundred Birds was formed in Osaka in 1996, revolving around DJ YOKU. This orchestra consists of 30 pieces, including horns and strings (even a global violinist from the German and French National Symphony Orchestra. The interesting thing about A Hundred Birds is the genre of music they actually make. For being a 30-piece orchestra it is surprising discovering they produce house music, using live drums and horns and strings. A Hundred Birds is truly a unique group that deserves the listen.
