Just to clear things up for everybody, Two People is actually, believe it or not, made up of two people. Phoebe Lou and Joey Clough remind me of The White Stripes with the dynamic they have going on. They have successfully formed a Do-It-Yourself band. They believe it's very important to be present for all the behind the scenes production that goes into making an album. And by present, they mean not just to be in the room, but to be the ones doing the work. Two People make their own artwork, which'll have you thinking whether their music is playing through a magazine. The foundation of their band rests gently upon "getting personal and more intimate." And with this being said, you may be having flashbacks to the couples in high school who couldn't resist feeding each other in the lunchroom. But surprisingly enough, their partnership is built solely on the passion for music and has kept these Two People together even after their previous band parted ways. Now if that ain't true love, then this band is actually just one person. â

With a background in music and songwriting under the pseudonym Pierce Frolic, Kyle personally knows the amount of work and determination that goes into becoming an artist of any medium. Towards the end of high school, Kyle realized the lack of support in his hometown of Wilmington, Delaware for the arts and underground talents. So he began digging deeper into the lives of local artists, and thus, First State Studios was born. Sobieski has a diverse musical palette and loves nothing more in life than seeing people who are passionate and courageous with what they do. "It's these people who make the world a more colorful, intimate place for everybody."
