9/3/2019 0 Comments Tora's Musical PaletteTora has been noted on each episode of The Dot, as we have been blessed to use their intro song at the beginning of each episode and we thank them immensely. Tora is such a talented group. Consisting of 4 members, the band originates from Byron Bay, Australia, crafting electronic alternative music. Each member of the band is considered to be a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer. All tasks are shared and all ideas come to flow into one huge musical palette they can simply paint any song with. Tora's brand new album, 'Can't Buy The Mood' is a reminder that money, fame and material objects alone do not create happiness and deep satisfaction, as the band puts it. The album was written during a time of intense reflection and consideration of society as a whole and each individual's perspective.
The band goes on to say, "This album was designed to encourage people to spend their lives following their true passions, and have meaningful connections with each other, rather than just chasing material dreams." The new album contains political songs that actually don't sound too political to be quite frank, but touch on subjects like climate change, disillusionment, mental illness, and political polarization.

Author: Kyle SobieskiKyle Sobieski is a digital content producer and founder of First State Studios. With a background in music and songwriting under the pseudonym Pierce Frolic, Kyle personally knows the amount of work and determination that goes into becoming an artist of any medium. Towards the end of high school, Kyle realized the lack of support in his hometown of Wilmington, Delaware for the arts and underground talents. So he began digging deeper into the lives of local artists, and thus, First State Studios was born. Sobieski has a diverse musical palette and loves nothing more in life than seeing people who are passionate and courageous with what they do. "It's these people who make the world a more colorful, intimate place for everybody." ArchivesCategories |
