​In the first few seconds of Guajira Guantanamera, Hugel lets the voice of Joseito Fern(a)ndez lead without interruption. After a few seconds, the kick comes in, and the 1929 hit of the same name transforms into a throbbing EDM track.

​Sure to augment a setlist of familiar pop hits with something unexpected, Hugel may give one of the most lively sets on the Firefly stage. An exciting DJ and producer based out of Marseille, France, he’s one to watch out for. However, It’s really at live performances that Hugel hits his stride, where his energized sets are full of house remixes and sick drops. In the past few years, he’s become a regular in Ibiza and the European festival circuit. He appeared on tour with David Guetta in 2018 and has headlined at Tomorrowland festival and Lollapalooza Berlin.
