Kevin Abstract is beginning to be the face of Brockhampton, the popular rap collective that was brought to our ears around 2017. Abstract just released a new album which is freaking amazing, but more importantly, one of the tracks features singer songwriter and punk lover Dominic Fike. An artist whom you should have your eye on in 2019, as he just recently dropped his song 3 Nights. BROCKHAMPTON dominated the music world all 2018 so it seems reasonable that they would slow their roll into the new year. However, Kevin Abstract is always keeping fans on their toes with the next big secret thing in the works. Last week, he teased the trailer for a forthcoming project that remains scarce on details. Today, Abstract goes behind the lens as the director of an alternate visual for Dominic Fike‘s breakout single for “3 Nights.” Highsnobiety tells us, the video opens with a candid interview with the Florida native followed by a series of backflips in the street and other randomly entertaining outbursts. As expected from BROCKHAMPTON, this creation was a team effort with the involvement of Ashlan Grey and Henock Sileshi. Get a glimpse of the alt-pop artist in his natural element in the video above and watch the other version below. For more on Fike, check out his Don’t Forget About Me, Demos EP.
