Otherwise known as the blues bashers, Daddy Long Legs brings us back to a time of blues and classic rock and roll. Better grab your beat up knickers and suspenders because fast dancing is what you'll be doing at this show. Their sound is noticeably lo-fi, which helps bring us back to older train hitching days, and runaway blues.
I'll be honest, some people may not enjoy this kind of music, but frankly I don't think they care.
When describing the band's roles, the front man of it all is Brian Hurd, who wails out vocals as well as bluesy harmonica notes. Murat Akturk takes the duty of slide guitar, and Josh Styles handles not only the drums, but a maraca as well. As it's already the end of June of 2019 when we wrote this, there's only a few days left for their East Coast tour, ending on July 14th. If you want to be taken back to a time of great rock and roll, and maybe see Ed Sullivan in the mosh pit, click here to get your tickets.
Nowadays, the guys have come to a point where they want to step outside of the lo-fi realm, and make something a little more produced. The result was their brand new Album, Lowdown Ways, which you can preview below...
