Synful Apparel  (Wilmington, Delaware)

What does SynfulApparel mean to you?

Synful Apparel means to be undeniably you. No matter what size, color or look you have. Growing up for the most part I've always felt comfortable in my skin, and I want others to feel the same way. People would often ask me “How do you wear things the way you do ?” or they’d say “You can make anything look good” so why wouldn't I want everyone else to get that same power.

What made you want to start your own clothing line?

I’ve always had a passion for the fashion/clothing industry. Since I was about 12 I wanted to design and make my own clothes. I was in and out of jobs that didn’t excite me, so one late night in april I decided “i’m going to start my own business” I was tired of not feeling satisfied with what I spend my time on. It took a lot of research and time but Synful Apparel is like my baby now and I wouldn’t change my process for anything.

Who comes up with the product ideas?
I do ! As the sole owner of Synful Apparel I am responsible for coming up with fresh ideas to sell. I enjoy the thought process that goes into giving people something new. My brother (@mindlesss3000) helps me bring some of my ideas to life digitally. Other than that, I source for every item and idea on my own.

What items does Synful Apparel sell?

Synful Apparel sell’s T-shirts and Sweaters with unique logos. Dresses, Bathing suits and   accessories such as handbags plus sunglasses. More to come in the future !

Who or what influenced you to start your own clothing line?

The drive to want to do more with myself influenced me to start my own clothing line. I was tired of people thinking that I wasn't capable of doing more. If I had to choose a person who has influenced me, it would be Heather Saunders, the owner of Sorella Boutique. She has a youtube video where she is talking about her business and the pros/cons and how you should never give up. She promotes her brand like no other and she seems like such a positive person who started off very small but is now expanding. I aspire to get to high levels and beyond.

Is your clothing line centered towards one demographic or can anybody buy it?

For the most part my clothing line is centered towards women between the ages of 16 - 30 but I do sell items here and there that are unisex ! I do plan on getting to a place where I have enough variety for everyone.

What are your goals for the clothing line in 2020 and beyond?

My goals for Synful Apparel in 2020 is to expand within the variety that we offer. To provide quality products and designs that people have never seen. To continue to push people to be themselves. I strive for people to understand their power and their greatness.
