Low Island is the best of all worlds. They are a great medium between club music and indie, and formed no more than a year ago. The group consists of Carlos Posada, Felix Higginbottom, Jamie Jay, and Jacob Lively. Lively, Higginbottom, and Posada all met in primary school and eventually met Jay in their early teens. Due to their combined musical past, whether it was night club DJ'ing, failed indie bands, festivals, etc., their music resembles everything they enjoy. DIY described Low Island by saying "They occupy the middle ground between âIn Rainbowsâ electronic wizardry and the life-affirming bangers of Caribou". Their last project came out last year titled Low Island & Friends (17-18) but they have released two singles since then titled "Search Box" and "In Person", both of which are amazing tracks. Low Island is the perfect mix of alternative and electronic and deserves all the success they can get. Learn more about them at their website below.

âHere are somethings real people had to say about Low Island:
"Low Island's sophistication and musicianship can be sensed even as they're setting up. There's a rare intelligence and subtlety to their lyrics and music and they're great to watch. Excellent new songs and old favourites beautifully performed. One to watch." - dft2017 on seetickets.com "my favourite band of 2017 played a fantastic set at a very intimate but cool venue at Corsica Studios - 2018 will be a big year for this young band" - damo306 on seetickets.com "Followed the lads since Kendal calling..... they are fantastic and will be main stage headliners soon!!!" - Gibby on seetickets.com
