Okay DUCKWRTH has been on the come up since the new SpiderMan movie, Into the Spiderverse. He truly has not stopped working since that movie. The music speaks for itself. This is an artist you'll want to see in concert if you like jumping, yelling, moshing, and the equivalent. High energy lyrics and dumping bass makes up DUCKWRTH, and I'm not complaining by any means. It's worth taking a look at his music videos as well. Featuring albinos and soft padded rooms, his videos are sort of frightening but it just goes along with the music so well. But as much as DUCKWRTH uses heavy bass and frightening video tactics, he also has the vocal ability to slow down a song and go falsetto. Keep an eye on this guy, he might just start a riot. Formally known as Jared Lee, Duckwrth comes from South Los Angeles, California. He calls himself a Grand Pastor's Kid, having been raised in the home of a Pentecostal's pastor's daughter. He admits to not listening to hip hop until he was 16, not going outside until 16, just because his mom thought he would get shot in South LA. With a sheltered life like that, he had no choice but to create his own world beyond what was really happening outside and it paid off in the long run.
Being the visual artist that he is, DUCKWRTH has never been afraid to share the visions of the world that he sees. Not just through music, but also with his incredible talent for visual expression, Jared Lee is all about self expression and incorporating emotion into his work. He is the illustrator of all of the artwork for his projects during the past few years. Growing equally known in the graphic design space, he has created dynamic visual branding for artists like Hodgy Beats, T. Mills and IAMSU! to name a few. So far, Duckwrth has directed ad campaigns for Levis, Facebook, and Rare Panther. He recently toured with Anderson .Paak who is just as jmuch of an artist as he is. With each move, it is abundantly clear that Duckwrth is growing not only as an artist but becoming a noteworthy artist in his own unique way.

So he began digging deeper into the lives of local artists, and thus, First State Studios was born. Sobieski has a diverse musical palette and loves nothing more in life than seeing people who are passionate and courageous with what they do.
