"A project to reapproach a relationship with an instrument after years of feeling stuck in indie rock power chords." With this being said, Cape Francis has given birth to something new, and its pretty chill. Easy to fall in love with, easy to listen to, perfect for clearing your head and feeling good about yourself. People have described his music as looking out the window as if you're in some sort of deep alternative love film. Have also seen "road trip kind of style" and I think that hits the head of the nail. Thank you Cape Francis for doing something different and making listening to music in our cars so nostalgic.
Kevin Olken Henthorn a.k.a Cape Francis is a former singer/songwriter of Stone Cold Fox. He began playing the guitar at the age of 9, and studied a wide variety of music ranging from classical to metal. At 15 he was determined to write his own material and used it as a way to push his own fundamentals. After spending years of creating heavy traditional pop music, Henthorn wanted to break his own mold and reconnect with his own creativity. His music revolves around a finger picked electric guitar, and simplistic percussion and synths. Check out his new album "Deep Water" below.
